With the onset of festivals, especially Durga Puja fervour reaching a crescendo, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is not taking any chances. On Thursday, it issued a list of dos and don'ts for a "safe and environment-friendly idol immersion". In a tweet, comprising two slides, the CPCB has recommended the dos-for devotees, idol makers, local authorities and regulatory authorities-and don'ts for the devotees and idol makers and sculptors.
